Father's Day Weekend

Growing up, I can always remember my Dad being a hard working person. He always believed in putting in the extra time and effort to get a job done. And as hard working as he was, he was just as giving as well. He's the type that would give to someone without them knowing, because after all, he never wanted the recognition for the good things he did.

He always told me I could be anything I wanted to be with goals, persistence, and a little determination. He taught me that losing was OK, so long as I got back up and tried again. Those heart to heart talks growing up seemed tough, but ultimately he always pointed out the silver lining to the cloud. I am thankful for such a wonderful, giving, loving father.

Happy Father's Day Dad!

The signature look...

After a few days of this, he's beginning to fit in with the crowd. This is the signature look of my handsome boy Stormy. He is ruling the roost (2nd place) just behind the girl.

So far, he's not that in to food/begging (lucky for me) but he does have a thing for towels...and this big rope that all the kids have played with over the years. So far, no one's destroyed it past recognition. (even in the jaws of Bailey) This thing is beyond durable. Wish I could remember where it was purchased.
