Meet Stormy, he's the latest addition to my hound dog clan. Is this just a coincidence or is someone dropping hounds off near my house?


Bailey and Stormy are best buds...they love to play, even though Bay is 5 times bigger.

As you can see, the garden is shaping up and filling in nicely. I can't wait until the harvest.

Happy Mother's Day

Ah, Mother's Day weekend is upon us and I wanted to create a special post to say what a GREAT Mom I have. She is probably the most selfless person I know, always thinking of others and putting them first. Her smile is radiating, her laughter infectious...she is truly one of a kind. Many thanks to my Mom for being so supportive, encouraging, and loving.

I was looking for a photo tonight when I ran across these in one of my old photo albums. Location: Douglas, GA. Who: Me and my grandparents (Mema and Papa Adams) When: I'd say these are 1985-ish photos.



Gotta love those fall days of visiting Grandparents in South GA. Looks like this could have been the early stages in my love for gardening.
